ABOUT US

MU Worship is a student-led worship band made up primarily of Mission University students from across a variety of majors—including ministry, education, and business. This team comes together with one shared mission: to lead Christ-centered worship and serve local churches and ministries through music.

MU Worship provides a full-band worship experience, featuring drums, acoustic and/or electric guitar, keys, bass, and vocals. Our team leads a blend of contemporary worship music and traditional favorites, allowing us to serve a wide range of church styles and settings.

We believe the best ministry happens through partnership. That’s why our team works closely with pastors and worship leaders to ensure the music and service style best fits the needs of each church or event.

MU Worship is frequently invited to lead for youth events, D-Nows, winter retreats, and Sunday morning services, and we are always grateful for opportunities to serve churches and invest in the next generation of believers.

Availability

MU Worship can be booked during the school semesters (August–November and January–March). Please note that there are a few blackout dates when teams are not available, including school breaks, holidays, and other campus events. To check availability for your event, please fill out our inquiry form and a member of our team will follow up with you.

COST

To help cover travel and ministry expenses—MU Worship charges a fee per event. Each event is different, so pricing may vary depending on location and the type of service or gathering. If you have questions about pricing for your event, see the table below or feel free to give us a call. We’d be happy to talk through the details and see how we can best serve you.

In-State

$1,000

$1,000 Base Fee.
No travel fee is included for in-state events.
Host will be expected to cover meals for the team if they fall within the time of your event.

Out-of-State

$2,000+

$2,000 Base Fee.
An additonal $1 per mile round-trip will be added to your total cost.
Host will be asked to cover housing and meals.

Summer Camp

$3,000+

$3,000 Base Fee.
An additonal $1 per mile round trip will be added to your total.
Host will be asked to cover housing and meals.

Makala is a graduate of Mission University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Worship Ministry and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. She now serves as the Student Activities Coordinator and is passionate about equipping the next generation of worship leaders.
