Chapel & Community groups
At Mission University, spiritual formation is central to campus life. Through weekly Chapel Services and Community Groups, students are invited into meaningful worship, biblical teaching, and Christ-centered community.
Chapel Services & Community Groups
Chapel Services
When: Tuesdays, 9:20–10:35 a.m.
Chapel is a weekly gathering designed to encourage, equip, and unite our student body around the truth of God’s Word. Each service provides space for students to step away from the busyness of the week and refocus their hearts and minds through worship and teaching.
What to Expect
- Worship Together: Chapel features our student-led Chapel Band, creating an engaging and authentic worship experience.
- Sound Biblical Teaching: Students hear clear, Christ-centered messages rooted in Scripture.
- A Variety of Speakers: Chapel welcomes a diverse lineup of speakers, including local pastors, ministry leaders, alumni, current Mission University faculty and staff, and Christian business professionals.
- Community & Encouragement: Chapel is a shared space for the MU community to grow together, be challenged in their faith, and find encouragement.
Chapel is more than a weekly service—it is a cornerstone of spiritual life at Mission University.

Community Groups
When: Thursdays, 9:20 a.m.
New for the 2025–26 Academic Year
Community Groups are a new addition to Mission University, created to foster deeper relationships and intentional spiritual growth. These groups provide students with a smaller, more personal environment to connect, reflect, and grow in their faith.
How Community Groups Work
Small Group Setting: Students are divided into smaller groups to encourage meaningful discussion and connection.
Faculty & Staff Facilitated: Each group is led by Mission University faculty or staff who invest in students both spiritually and personally.
Intentional Community: Groups meet in various locations across campus, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Faith in Practice: Community Groups offer space to discuss Scripture, ask questions, pray together, and apply biblical truth to everyday life.
Community Groups complement Chapel by providing a place where students are known, supported, and challenged to grow.
