Dr. Christopher Beck
Director of Online Education
Dr. Christopher Beck is married to his best friend, Dana, and their son Lincoln awaits them in heaven. Dr. Beck is blessed to be the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beck.
Upon graduation from Baptist Bible College, Dr. Kenneth Gillming, Sr. reached out to Dr. Beck to work with Missouri’s Moral Majority, which provided many opportunities (including hosting a weekly radio broadcast and attending a White House briefing with then President Reagan). Dr. Beck has also had the opportunity to work with the White House Press Advance Team on a number of presidential events.
Dr. Beck’s work at Mission University began at radio station KWFC. He earned his Master’s degree at Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) and his Ph.D. from Regent University.
In addition to serving as Academic Chair of Online Education, Dr. Beck has the honor of serving the congregation of West Republic Baptist Church as pastor.
Dr. Beck is also a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and has served as President of Branson’s IBM Ring #325.
One of his favorite passages of Scripture is 1 Samuel 12:24 which says: “Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you” (NKJV).

Shannon Mulford has been at Mission University since January 2016, serving in the positions of faculty, Director of Institutional Research & Assessment, Director of Online Education, and Academic Dean. He is the co-chair of the Assessment Committee and a member of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee.
Shannon graduated from Mission University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies and graduated from Baptist Bible Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in Church Ministry. He is currently in the Doctor of Educational Ministry (D.Ed.Min.) program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (ABD). He has served the Lord in the local church for over 20 years. He also worked more than 16 years in the insurance and finance industry, holding both managerial and professional positions within operations at FCCI Insurance Group as well as a position as a licensed financial advisor and insurance agent with Purpose Financial Group/LPL. Shannon has been recognized with multiple business service and academic awards.
