HONOR’S LIST & PRESIDENT’S LIST

• Mission University was founded in the fall of 1950 by a group of pastors and churches who shared a common vision to train pastors, missionaries, and christian leaders to plant churches in both the United States and around the world. In recent years the College has achieved accreditation offering degrees in both Ministry Studies, Professional Studies, and Seminary degrees. The College maintains it distinctive as a Bible College and the mission of the College is to provide an education that develops students intellectually and spiritually so that they engage their world as committed followers of Jesus Christ. It is important that the College recognizes student achievement. The College does so by recognizing students who qualify each semester for the Honor’s List and the President’s List.

Honor’s List

• The Honor’s List is an indicator of high academic achievement earned by full-time undergraduate students who attained a grade point average of 3.5-3.74 during a given semester. Students who have a grade of “D” or “F,” an incomplete, and/or a grade of “W” are not eligible for this award. The list is determined at the end of each semester by the Office of the Registrar and are entered on the student’s permanent record. Only the semester average is considered in computing grades and achievement level. Students names are listed in alphabetical order of their last name.

President’s List

• The President’s List is an indicator of high academic achievement earned by full-time undergraduate students who attained a grade point average of 3.75-4.0 during a semester.  Students who have a grade of “D” or “F,” an incomplete, and/or a grade of “W” are not illegible for this award.  The list is determined at the end of each semester by the Office of the Registrar and entered on the student’s permanent record.  Only the semester average is considered in computing grades and achievement level.  Students names are listed in alphabetical order of their last name.
