ALUMNI CARES 2024 – DATES, VOLUNTEER FORM & GIVING INFORMATION

Many of us wonder how we could help or lend a helping hand to our Alma Mater. A few years ago, our college sent students out to be a blessing to churches around the country. We called it “BBC Cares.” This past winter, our college received a new name, Mission University. With a new name carries a new spirit and a fresh wind behind her sails. 

Given that this fall will be the first opening week of Mission University, this is the perfect opportunity for us, as Alumni, to give back to our school in our first-ever Alumni Cares Week, July 23-27, 2024. The goal of this week is to help prepare the campus for opening week. During Alumni Cares 2024, we will fund and execute the projects that need to happen around our campus.

Alumni Cares 2024 projects include: painting, landscaping, and demolition. There are projects for both the inside and outside of the facilities and campus. As you review this list of projects, you might have people in your church who are experts in an area of need, have equipment needed to make these projects happen, know alumni who might want to be involved, or maybe you and your family could give a few days to help beautify our campus. Let’s make this happen!

Housing, breakfast, lunch, and a free Alumni Cares T-shirt are provided for all volunteers who come to Alumni Cares.  (Note: Housing is limited, so please specify whether you need housing on the form).

There are two ways for you to be involved: 

1. Volunteer. Join us for a day or the whole week. On our Volunteer Registration Form, you tell us how many days you can help.  The link to the Volunteer Registration Form is provided below.

2. Give to help fund these projects. You can give today by clicking on the “Give” box below and choosing “Alumni Cares” from the drop-down. Our financial goal for Alumni Cares 2024 is $25,000.00.
