Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Master of Education in Educational Leadership program,
1. Visionary School Leadership (Vision, Mission, and Goals) Education leaders will have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a school or district vision of learning supported by the school community (ILO 1; ILO 2; ILO 3);
2. Instructional School Leadership (Teaching and Learning) Education leaders have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by promoting a positive school culture, providing an effective instructional program that applies best practice to student learning, and designing comprehensive professional growth plans for staff (ILO 1; ILO 3);
3. Managerial School Leadership (Management of Organizational Systems) Education leaders have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by managing the organizational structure, personnel, and resources in a way that promotes a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment (ILO 1, ILO 3);
4. Relational School Leadership (Collaboration with Families and Stakeholders) Education leaders have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by collaborating with families and other community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources (ILO 1; ILO 2; ILO 3);
5. Ethical School Leadership (Ethics and Integrity) Education leaders have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by acting with integrity and in an ethical manner (ILO 1; ILO 2; ILO 3); and
6. Innovative School Leadership (Professional Development) Education leaders have the knowledge and ability to ensure the success of all students by remaining current on best practices in education administration and school-related areas as evidenced in his/her annual professional development plan (ILO 1; ILO 3).

The mission of the Master of Education in Educational Leadership program is to prepare edcuators to become building-level administrators.

Faculty Spotlight

Mark Milioni
President & Faculty
Dr. Milioni graduated from Mission University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry, graduated from Luther Rice Seminary in 1996 with a Master of Arts in Ministry, graduated from Louisiana Baptist University in 2013 with a Ph.D. in Communications, and in 2023 earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Regent University. He has served in local church ministry for more than 35 years. He has served as the President of Mission University since 2012.
