Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies, students will be able to:
1. Articulate a knowledge of biblical texts and a clear explanation of systematic theology consistent with Baptist distinctives. (ILO 1)
2. Formulate a philosophy of life and ministry which demonstrates a commitment to Christ-like character. (ILO 2)
3. Exegete and apply a biblical text to a sermon and/or lesson delivered with oral clarity and contemporary relevance. (ILO 1)
4. Demonstrate leadership skills to address issues as they relate to doctrine, life, and ministry. (ILO 3)
Program Mission
The mission of the Biblical Studies program is to equip its graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary in order to prepare them for a life of vocational or lay service as a leader in the local church or parachurch organization and to provide a foundation for further education.

Jon Haley
Faculty
Jon graduated from Mission University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Theology and Pastoral Ministry and graduated from Liberty University in 2009 with a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership. Jon has more than 25 years of experience leading and serving in ministry. He has published two books and is currently the Lead Pastor of Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
