Bio: Brian is a 1994 graduate of Mission University, where he met his wife Mychelle. After earning a master’s degree at Dallas Theological Seminary in 1997, Brian and Mychelle began an internship at First Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas. This has served him well in his position as Finance Director. Brian is also the Director of the World Initiative Network (WIN). Being an adjunct faculty member allows for a strong connection between the BBFI Mission Office, and the students and faculty of Mission U. Brian teaches one seated class each semester within the Intercultural Studies department. He also facilitates multiple online Intercultural Studies courses for Mission University.

Tyler Carleton (Class of '19)

Tyler Carleton (Class of '19)

"My degree means I'm prepared. It means that I've learned from a Biblical standpoint how to interact with cultures and beliefs different than my own in a God-honoring way, so that I can effectively reach them with the Gospel. If I don't understand them, how can I ever relate the Gospel to them? I chose this program because I believe God has called me to reach other cultures and people groups. I wanted to make sure that I was as prepared and educated as possible to spread the Gospel to them, and this degree program gave me the opportunity and training I needed to do that."

Brynn Gotcher (Class of '21)

Brynn Gotcher (Class of '21)

“For me, a degree in this program means that I get to be well prepared for the ministries I’m going to be involved in when I go overseas! I am going to be able to be super effective because I’ve not only taken classes to learn about other cultures, but I’ve also taken classes that have given me a great biblical foundation as well. I decided to major in Intercultural Studies because I surrendered to be in intercultural ministry my senior year of high school, and I knew that this degree was where God was leading me in my college years!”
