Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA was birthed 45 years ago out of a desire to establish a vibrant, evangelical presence in this growing community. That vision has become a reality as Fellowship Bible Church has grown to become a thriving intercultural, intergenerational church living out its purpose to have everyone, everywhere, experiencing Jesus in the church, in the community and in the world.

About the Worship Minister:

Fellowship Bible Church Roswell is searching for a Worship Minister to build, develop, and lead a Jesus-centered worship and prayer culture. The Worship Pastor will shepherd Fellowship in worship, oversee the health and development of all worship leaders and musicians, and own the long range plan of Spiritual Formation through worship.

This collaborative and joy-filled leader is our lead “worshipper” who models and engages others in vertical worship of God. This leader is marked by sensitivity to God’s promptings, a joy-filled pastor’s heart, and a true humility.

Fellowship Bible Church WorshipThe Worship Minister's Responsibilities Include:

Develop, shepherd, and manage all aspects of weekly worship services at Fellowship Roswell, working with the Senior Pastor, pastoral staff team, and leadership of the church. This will involve identifying, recruiting, developing, leading, and shepherding a team to create excellent weekly worship services.

Facilitate the leading of worship that will reflect the intergenerational and intercultural vision of Fellowship Roswell

Develop and lead a worship team that cultivates spiritual growth and fosters excellence in God-exalting worship.

Schedule, prepare for, and lead worship team rehearsals, including any support and technical staff.

Supervise and shepherd those engaged in technical production, as vital members of the worship ministry.

Work with the pastoral staff, leadership, and ministry teams as we seek to bring every area of ministry in line with our missional vision.

Design, prepare and lead special worship events that can serve as outreaches to the community.

Education & Experience

Theological training or verifiable theological development

5-10 years experience as a Worship Minister or commensurate experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrable worship and/or songwriting experience

Administratively competent

Gifted leader with a track record of recruiting, leading, and developing staff and volunteers

Clear and effective communicator

Technical Competence — able to fulfill responsibilities and help others do the same

Personal Qualifications

Relationally gifted

Adaptive Resilience — Remains agile and resilient in challenging spaces and seasons

Relationally Connected — embodies and leads others to experience joy, trust, and engagement in their work

Personal Responsibility — Ownership of life and ministry while leading others to do the same

Located approximately twenty miles north of Atlanta in Fulton County, you’ll find the family-friendly town of Roswell, Georgia. Roswell has a small-town feel with lots of fun activities and entertainment for local residents. The area is nationally known for its great parks system and has lush green trails with trees that line the community. The Chattahoochee River offers its guests beautiful scenery, a riverwalk, and playgrounds.

Roswell, Georgia, is rich with history and has a Southern Trilogy – Historic House Museum Tours and Historic District Sites that share in-depth information on the history of this region. Approximately 15-30 minutes away, you’ll find towns like Woodstock, Marietta, and Alpharetta. These cities have a lot to offer, from various recreational activities to great culinary and shopping places to visit.
