Dr. Beck graduated from Mission University (Mission U) in 1983 with a Graduate of Theology degree and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. Upon graduation from Mission U, Dr. Beck was hired by Dr. Kenneth Gillming, Sr. to work with Missouri’s Moral Majority, which provided many opportunities (including hosting a weekly radio broadcast and attending a White House briefing). Dr. Beck has also had the opportunity to work a number of presidential events with the White House Press Advance Team.

Dr. Beck’s work at Mission U began at radio station KWFC. He earned a Master’s of Arts in Communication at Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) in 1992 and earned a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University in 2004. In addition to chairing Mission U’s General Education Division, Dr. Beck has the honor of serving the congregation of West Republic Baptist Church as pastor. He is also a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and serves as President of Branson’s IBM Ring #325. One of his favorite passages of Scripture is 1 Samuel 12:24 which says: “Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.”
